As embarrassing as our writing can be at such a young age, it's fun to see how much growth there's been, too.Amanda Hannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01491615046870104400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8442355297625438730.post-53229744754471701282010-01-07T07:20:32.549-05:002010-01-07T07:20:32.549-05:00No--I really wanted to enter the Nathan Bransford ...No--I really wanted to enter the Nathan Bransford contest, but I didn't have time to craft something worthy. They're working me hard here in England, but at least it'll all pay off at the end. I'm hoping he does another contest for YA shortly.Pam Harrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09872183610393667619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8442355297625438730.post-19339557653220440892010-01-06T18:53:58.218-05:002010-01-06T18:53:58.218-05:00By the way, did you enter Nathan Bransford's T...By the way, did you enter Nathan Bransford's Teen Diary contest?Melaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11785387670667198873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8442355297625438730.post-52295389406047533082010-01-06T18:52:14.568-05:002010-01-06T18:52:14.568-05:00Don't throw them away! There was a short story I wrote in 8th grade (I know, who cares about the olden times) that was so well done that it was shared to the class as an example. I have pretty much kept all of my really great projects from school, except this short story. I really wish I still had it to look back on so I can say to myself that I did show early signs of talent in writing.Melaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11785387670667198873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8442355297625438730.post-46949998240646666272010-01-06T18:52:03.542-05:002010-01-06T18:52:03.542-05:00I too did not want to be a stigma writer. I was supposed to be a doctor. Then I started writing about living on a farm with both a pig and a golden retreiver. Now, I just write about everyday people living everyday lives.Racquel Henryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12878474658503690859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8442355297625438730.post-83399187844950944302010-01-06T18:42:03.966-05:002010-01-06T18:42:03.966-05:00I've been tempted to throw mine away too, but ...I've been tempted to throw mine away too, but I realized how glad I was I hadn't when I wrote today's Road Trip post!Kate Harthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06996372656314569511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8442355297625438730.post-52045907904457607962010-01-06T17:51:48.855-05:002010-01-06T17:51:48.855-05:00LOL- I actually forgot to mention those late night...LOL- I actually forgot to mention those late night sessions, but they were interesting!
