I love your process of getting over your writer's block. It must have been fun to listen to 80s music and re-watch that movie. :)Ghenet Myrthilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12621168379560585094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8442355297625438730.post-46429504634775205502011-04-25T12:48:42.255-04:002011-04-25T12:48:42.255-04:00Congrats on completing the draft!Congrats on completing the draft!Alicia Gregoirehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06660125614529633284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8442355297625438730.post-90878645606406435402011-04-25T09:47:32.945-04:002011-04-25T09:47:32.945-04:00Congrats on finishing another draft! In the latter, I do a lot of re-reading like you do, then I just make myself power through to the end. And then I realize I'm going to have a TON of work to do on revision. ;)Meredith McCardle https://www.blogger.com/profile/10927900808744970620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8442355297625438730.post-16880601909683399042011-04-25T09:16:18.526-04:002011-04-25T09:16:18.526-04:00Congrats on finishing another first draft, Pam! I especially like the fact you use Quita to help fuel creativity. That's what I've found to work best. When I'm up against that writing wall (which happens often!) I turn to like-minded people (whether it be in real life or my online pals). For me, sometimes just talking about writing and books and the like gets me back into the mindset that I need.

Good luck with revisions!Jamie Manninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12468645782406389500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8442355297625438730.post-311921724862867422011-04-25T09:16:12.519-04:002011-04-25T09:16:12.519-04:00Dang, also meant to say congrats on finishing your...Dang, also meant to say congrats on finishing your first draft!
- Sophia.Sophiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17926811798176739307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8442355297625438730.post-44729169851046508112011-04-25T09:15:54.488-04:002011-04-25T09:15:54.488-04:00I'm entering a part of my first draft, between...I'm entering a part of my first draft, between the midpoint and Act 3, where I know where I need to end up and in the big picture sense how to get there but I need some scene-by-scene focus. Writing about writing (what do I need to happen, how could I show that, what setting would amplify the conflict?) helps me unblock. Speaking of, I need to get on with that. . .
- Sophia.Sophiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17926811798176739307noreply@blogger.com
