And there was soooo much more that we packed into a 10 hour day of walking. Instead of boring you with an hour by hour itinerary, we thought we'd share a few pics. Enjoy!!!
Saks Fifth Avenue- AHHHH!
Ground Zero
St. Patrick' s Cathedral
The famous library from Ghostbusters!
Times Square :)
Home of The Big Piano from the movie Big!
The fam at the LEGO store.
And there are so many more pics that we took!!! It was an exhausting, yet, exhilarating experience. Have you been to NYC? If so, what'd you do/see there? If not, do ya wanna visit one day??

Oooh, JEALOUS! It's been far too long since I was in NYC.
Have they started building anything at Ground Zero yet? I would think now would be a good time.

Oh, I love New York! I'm glad y'all had a great time! Where did y'all stay?
Bear and I spent 2 days in NYC in 09 - we didn't get to do much touristy stuff, but we rode the subway, walked around Chinatown, Canal St., Tribeca, stuff in that area. We visited the 9/11 museum on (I think) Liberty St. and took a tour of the area surrounding Ground Zero with a guide who'd lost 4 friends in the Towers. :( It was extremely emotional. We also saw The Lion King on Broadway (AMAZING!!!!!!) and saw a Rays @ Yankees game, which was so cool since it was the inaugural season of New Yankee Stadium.
BUT - no Statue of Liberty, no Garment district, no Seredipity's, no MoMA - yeah, we totally need to take another trip to NYC!
I loves the NYC! :) I went there for the summers when I was a kid. Much more cleaner and less dangerous now though! LOL.
Last time I went was in 2006 in June and it was da BOMB! I needs to go back!
You HAVE to go to the Hersey store in Times Square and American Girl too! :)
Is it sad that a hot dog and pizza both feature on my list of things to do in NYC? Sounds/looks like you guys had a great time!

Two YA writers and not a picture in the Scholastic Store? What's wrong with you???
Glad you ladies had an awesome time.
@ Alicia--wait a minute, the Scholastic Store??? What is this wonderful place that you speak of. We MISSED it?!!

Oh I'm so jealous of you ladies...but it looks like you had a blast!
One question, though...um, where's a photo of said "underwear clad" models?
I'm glad you had a great time in the place I call home! :)
@ Jamie- there was a lady with a HUGE head in my way everytime I tried to take a pic of the models-- needless to say me and Pam were pissed! It was for Jockey underwear...those guys, YUM!
Looks like so much fun! When I was little my parents would take me to FAO Schwartz and it was like Christmas. I'm pretty sure we cried when we had to leave. Since I live further away now, I like to catch a show when I'm there. And shop, of course.
Okay, so I just SCOURED the pictures and found nothing including the underwear clad male models... What GIVES?
Otherwise, it looks like a fabulous trip :)
I'm so happy you guys had a blast! I used to live in NY and still go there frequently because I have A LOT of family there. Love Times Square. :)
